Studio Stephanie Passul is an independent design studio based in Cologne. The studio works in close dialogue with various cultural collaborators. Through a practice focused on the creation of text- and image-based narratives, the studio explores approaches to delivering artistic and institutional voices through media and forms such as publications, editing, research,
exhibitions, typographic identities, and websites.
Recent projects include books and catalogues with the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, typographic identity and ephemera for Sammlung Zander, image direction and graphic design for Philosophie Magazin, social media concept for the Peter and Irene Ludwig Foundation, social media design, ephemera and editorial support for the Museum Abteiberg, and publications for Are Blytt, mono.kultur. as well as posters and artwork for Echo Libero and La Felce.
In addition to commissioned work, Stephanie Passul teaches typography, book design, and conception at the Peter Behrens School of Art, HSD, Düsseldorf. From 2022 to 2024, she attended John Morgan’s class for Entwurf, typography and book art at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and is currently participating in Klasse Ed Atkins.
