ABOUT
Studio Stephanie Passul is a creative practice based in Cologne. Specializing in art direction and editorial design, it works across the fields of art and culture. The studios work includes practices such as book design, typography, editing, image concepts and visual identities.
While her work is rooted in research and conceptional thinking, Stephanie Passul works in close dialogue with artists, creatives and cultural institutions in order to convey artistic and conceptual ideas trough considered visual output. Her projects have been nationally and internationally published, exhibited and awarded.
Stephanie Passul worked four years as an art director at Meiré und Meiré, Cologne and several years as an independent graphic designer and art director. Since 2022 she is a guest student at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (2022–2024 Klasse John Morgan, since 2024 Klasse Ed Atkins).
In addition to her applied work, she teaches typography, book design and conception at the Peter Behrens School of Art, HSD, Düsseldorf since 2025.
